Baptism is a beautiful beginning — a joyful celebration of your child’s life and faith. At St Stephen’s, we love welcoming families as they prepare for this special moment of grace and belonging.
If you want to arrange for your baby or young child to be baptised, please see the current Parish Priest after one of the Sunday masses.
Baptisms take place on the first Sunday of each month soon after the 10:30 mass.
Baptisms at St.Stephens require some preparation, beginning with a period of regular participation of both parents and the child to be Baptised at Sunday mass with the worshiping community at prayer and subsequent weeks following the Baptism.
Baptisms should take place at the current parish of residence, it is not appropriate to seek Baptism at a Parish where there is no current or regular practice
