GOOD FRIDAY CHILDRENS LITURGY:
There is a special Children’s liturgy at 10-00am on Good Friday. All children and their families are invited for this short but meaningful reminder of the Easter Story. The Children listen to the events leading up to Easter Sunday in a way that is appropriate for their age. They are also encouraged to take an active part in the liturgy by enacting the last supper and dressing the cross with flowers.
Please be at church for 9-45am so that we can allocate simple tasks for those that wish to get involved. Easter Sunday the Children will decorate Easter Hats in the liturgy room and parade into church wearing their creations. ALL CHILDREN WELCOME.
SALFORD DIOCESE CHRISM MASS: Will take place at St. Patrick’s RC Church, Livesey Street, Collyhurst this Wednesday 27th March at 11am. Our Parish has been allocated 3 tickets to attend this Mass. If you would like to attend this special Mass, kindly see Fr. Callistus after Mass.
OFFERINGS: As we come to the end of the Financial Year 23/24, we need to review our Gift Aided
offerings. It is important that any persons signed up for Gift Aid and not now paying Income Tax, need to let us know. For those persons paying Income Tax and not signed up for Gift Aid we would be grateful if you would sign up and start using collection envelopes or Standing Order. This enables us to collect an additional 25% of your contributions from the Tax Office at no cost to yourself. For those people using what we call Loose Plate offering, we are of course very grateful, but we would like to know who you are, (not how much you give), please consider using the offering envelopes. Frank Etchells
DROYLSDEN FOOD BANK: A new priority list has been provided, they are desperate for the following tinned items, Meat, Vegetables, Rice Pudding, Custard, Fruit, and Jam. Also, Toiletries, Biscuits and any treats for the children. They are very grateful for all items of food and sundries. Many thanks.
GLUTEN FREE HOSTS: For those who need gluten free hosts we now have a supply of these. See Fr. Callistus before Mass so he can consecrate as necessary. A few will be reserved in the tabernacle.

Synod Prayer: Loving Father, be with us as we seek new ways of being your people in our Diocese.
May each new day bring us closer to your son Jesus,
as we follow his teaching and become disciples of love.
As we continue our Synodal journey, draw us closer to each other.
May the truth of your Spirit enlighten us.
Open our hearts, as we listen to each other and reach out in love to your people.
Stay with us, Lord, on our journey. Amen.
